Grey Houndstooth

One of my all-time favorite patterns to wear is houndstooth. It is so classy and chic and it is a great pattern to wear in the wintertime. I picked up this great houndstooth sweater from Liz Claiborne via JCP for 70% at a sale back in January and I'm obsessed with it. I love it because it is such a bold pattern, so you don't really have to dress it up with a lot of accessories and layers. It does that all on it's own! I have been trying to wear it every time cooler temperatures arrive because I know that Spring is coming... (and I couldn't be more ready!)

Good news: This sweater is currently only $20!

Tulle & Sequins

Ever since I saw a white tulle skirt in Anthropologie a few years ago, it's been at the top of my want list. However, the price tag was never in my budget so I have done without. Since then I have been searching for the perfect tulle skirt and I finally found this one from Sammy Dress.

I've seen tulle skirts worn in so many classic ways and as much as I wanted to pair this with a casual chambray top, I decided to mix it up this time.

The gold sequined details, the brown belt, and these leopard heels all tied together perfectly and my pink wallet and lipstick created a nice pop of color!

A Mint Scarf...

Last weekend, my friend Else and I took a girl's trip to Estes Park in Northern Colorado. It was so beautiful and it was a winter wonderland up there. On Saturday, we spent the day exploring the [haunted] Stanley Hotel and the shops in town. Even though it was freezing, it was a blast. Here's what I wore...
[more pictures from the trip itself coming soon!]

Can you tell I'm longing for spring? I can't stop wearing pastels.

I received this mint green infinity scarf scarf from Ash and Ember just in time for my trip and I wore it all weekend long! It is the softest material and the perfect color for spring... even if it was snowing.

the cutest little alley way...

Neutrals

I don't know if it has something to do with me longing for springtime, but I definitely have neutrals on the brain lately. I have been in love with wearing tans, creams, whites, and nude colors. And I mean, you really can't go wrong with neutrals.

... and it never hurts to throw some leopard into the mix.

I am dying over these shoes from Sole Society. They are really comfortable and very chic! I received them in the mail about 3 weeks ago and I haven't been able to wear them until now because it is finally warm enough to do so! Needless to say that I have worn them almost every single day this week. I'm kind in love with Sole Society and all of their shoes! I have my eye on these heels, this bag, and these sunnies for my next purchase.

How do you feel about mixing neutral colors together?
How would you wear these shoes?
