Hearts

Who says that colors like teal and burgundy are restricted to winter? Sure, these are definitely deemed as holiday colors but here's a way to wear them in warmer temperatures.

I love this blouse from Oasap. The print is really fun and casual and I love how light it is for warmer weather.

How We Wore It: Fall Plaid

Happy Thursday! I hope you are all having a good week. I am so excited because today I am teaming up with Katie from Style Diary Blog to show you how we style fall plaid. Katie and I recently 'met' via instagram because we realized we have the same doppleganger- Shailene Woodley. I think Katie looks more like her then I do. However, we decided that since we look like each other, we had to do a fun collaboration together!
There are so many patterns that can be worn continuously in the fall and plaid is one of them. It is such a great pattern that can be layered and worn in so many ways. Katie works a full-time job, so she made her outfit office-appropriate with a fabulous plaid blazer and a pencil skirt. As many of you know, I am a full-time student, so I kept my look casual and comfortable by mixing patterns.

My look:

Hot Pink

Happy Tuesday!

Here's a quick post from what I wore to church this past Sunday.

I picked this skirt up from Victoria and I love it! It is such a bright and girly color, which I love. This shirt has been on repeat lately but I am all done with it now. I am selling it via my instagram closet. Follow @shopjessicajean to see more!

I recently picked up these shoes from Windsor and I love them! They will match pretty much everything and they can dress up any outfit.

I need to invest in a new camera, the one I have just isn't cutting it anymore. If you have any recommendations for a somewhat simple and not so pricey DSLR, please do tell!

Now onto today's post.

One of my all time favorite items to wear are pencil skirts. They are so classy and versatile; they are a true wardrobe staple in my closet.
I have been wearing pencil skirts to church on Sundays a lot lately, and I love pairing them with a tucked in loose or sheer blouse. This is definitely my go-to church look. I have also seen this look being pulled together in different ways on other bloggers, so I thought I would post about this fun and happening trend.

Scroll down to see more pictures of this outfit!

Here are a few ways I love seeing other bloggers wear this trend:
