A couple of weekends ago, we spent the weekend in Grand Lake with my family. Grand Lake is located in northwestern Colorado and it is a beautiful little town. It's one of my favorite places to visit in Colorado. The lake is beautiful and there is a lot to do... there is a swim beach, a dock and the cutest town ever. If you're ever looking for a weekend getaway in Colorado, this is the place!
While we were up there, I definitely felt the laid-back and relaxed vibe. I didn't wear make-up the whole time we were there and I spent most days in a messy braid. Talk about imperfect perfection. Not worrying about hair and make-up and enjoying the Rocky Mountains is pretty peaceful.
We did get a chance to snap one of my outfits from the weekend. Just because you boycott make-up, doesn't mean you can't look cute!

This look was all about casual comfort. A loose white tea, comfortable jeans, casual sandals, a messy braid and my favorite lace-trimmed fedora.
don't worry, that ring in my jeans is not what you think it is. That's where I slipped my camera lens cover while taking pictures, lol!
