Waiting on Fall...

This time of year always has me feeling eager for fall. I'm ready for boots, sweaters, and scarves but with 80 degree temps, I'll just have to wait. This striped midi dress from Caralase is the perfect piece to transition from Summer to Fall. It can easily be worn in the summer, but it can also be worn in the fall season with the accessories. I paired it with booties and a chambray scarf in this particular outfit, which gave a fall feel without compromising my comfort or temperature.

Be sure to check out all the great items that Caralase has on their website! They have lots of great fall transitional pieces like this cardigan and this tunic.

Chunky Knits & Scarves

It has been freezing here and I have been living in chunky knits. They are the only thing that keep me feeling comfy and warm, without resorting to sweatpants.

I especially love this scarf from Charlotte Russe. It is really big and warm- and it's reversible!

Snowflakes & Chunky Knits

Happy Monday everyone, and Happy Winter Break! Okay, I know a lot of you aren't even students but I am now officially on WINTER BREAK. I finished finals last week and I now have FIVE WEEKS off of school. I am so excited. Also, can you believe it's already the 16th. Really, where does the time go? I only have this week to finish up all my Christmas presents (which are mostly homemade) so I am in a hurry to do that...

Today I have a festive holiday look that still brings in some bright, non-traditional holiday colors.

I am obsessing over chunky knit infinity scarves this season. They are so warm and perfect for those chilly days and they bring color to any outfit. The one I'm wearing is from a friend's etsy shop, but she doesn't sell them anymore. However, I've linked up some similar handmade scarves below. Also my leg warmers... I just love them. I had a pair of festive leggings but they were too big on me. I was pretty sad about that so I turned them into leg warmers!

As always, thanks for following!

Also, I just want to take a quick moment and thank-you all so much for your sweet and generous comments. I don't reply back to all of them because most people don't even see my response. But I do try to get in touch with anyone who has any specific questions or comments. I appreciate all of your wonderful comments and they mean so much to me, so thank-you, thank-you for leaving them and for reading this blog! :)
