Rose Gold Nails Tutorial Featuring Jamberry Nails & a Giveaway

Announcement: The winner of the KendallJane Boutique giveaway is Caitlin Odom. Expect an e-mail from me this week and please make sure you reply within 24 hours to claim your prize!

There is not another color in the world that I love more than rose gold... I love it in my jewelry, my make-up, and now on my nails! And when I found out that I could actually obtain a rose gold nail color... I was ecstatic

The secret to these beautifully colored nails are Jamberry Nails. This is the fourth or fifth time that I've used them and I absolutely love them!

That is the full sheet that you get! They are all the same color, but the light makes them look like they are different shades. Each tab is a different size, so they can fit on any size nail and any length!

The great thing about these nail wraps are:

-they are heat-activated, vinyl nail wraps.
-they are formaldehyde-free and non-toxic (unlike many nail polishes.)
-they won't damage natural nails and can also be used on artificial nails
-they go on your nail for an easy, fashionable look and they last up to 2 weeks! (Much longer than nail polish lasts!)
-they do not chip, smudge, crack, etc.
-you can wear them on your toe nails too, where they generally last up to 6 weeks.
-Each pack can create more than one manicure and they have over 300 different patterns & styles to choose from.

My tips:

I swear by Jamberry Nails and I love that they stay on a lot longer than nail polish. If you're like me and you don't have time to paint your nails every week, then these are for you! Although I love Jamberry Nails, here are some tips I have that will make application easier and smoother- pun not intended!

-Watch this youtube video when you are ready to apply your Jamberry nail wraps for the first time. It will walk you through the whole thing.
-They talk about this in the video, but make sure you clean your nails with alcohol before-hand and use a hairdryer to activate the wraps.
-I recommend putting the wrap on your nail (seen above) before cutting it at all. Then once it is applied, cut it around the edge. Leave a little bit of room so that it isn't too short and file the excess wrap off. I always end up using 1 entire wrap for two different nails and still having extra scraps.
-make sure you smooth out your nail wrap as soon as you put it on.
-measure the wrap's size against your nail before putting on your finger. Once it's on, you can take it off, but it just makes it easier.
