In the current fashion world that we live in, there are a lot of up and coming trends. There are new trends every week; some I love, others I don't like at all. And that's okay. I think it was at the age of 14 that I realized I didn't have to like every single trend that became popular. I made this realization when crocs became big and I decided that those were never going to be pretty and that I did not, under any circumstances have to wear crocs. (I ended up wearing crocs. It was required by my gymnastics coach that we all buy purple crocs to match our leotards and wear them when we marched-in at meets. But I didn't like it. HA) Fast-forward 10 years later and I have experienced this with many other trends.
I am not here to tell you that any of these trends are wrong or bad. I am not here to do that at all! The great thing about fashion is that it's a creative way to express yourself! But here are 10 trends I chose not to follow.
What are your thoughts on these trends?
You don't have to agree with me. In fact, it's totally fine if you like some of these trends. That's what fashion is all about.
