It's that time of year.
Summer isn't over yet, but fall hasn't arrived quite yet.
It's awkward.
Here in southern Colorado, I am so sick of the heat and I have been for about a month now. When I go outside it is so dry and hot that I feel like I am just going to melt away.
With that, I am inviting fall to come back with open arms, but she isn't quite ready yet.
My fall wardrobe is calling my name. I would love nothing more than to break out sweaters, boots, scarves, etc... but that would be extremely impractical and uncomfortable to do in this weather.
So I will stick to mixing summer and fall into my outfits until the fall decides to grace me with its presence.
This was the perfect outfit for church yesterday. The mint lace is perfect for summer and the navy striped blazer is a classic fall piece. Mixed together, they are a perfect combo in August.
